SAVOURY BEANS with Bean Supreme Rosemary & Parsley Sausages
- 2 Tsp Olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 onion – finely diced
- 1 coriander – ground
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp fennel seeds
- ¼ tsp dried chilli flakes
- ¼ tsp allspice
- 400g tinned chopped tomatoes
- 200ml water
- 400g tin Borlotti beans – drained and rinsed
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2½ Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Worchester sauce
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 x packet Bean Supreme Rosemary & Parsley Sausages – cooked
- Crusty warm bread (optional)
- In a medium pot over medium high heat add olive oil. Add onion and garlic and fry until starting to brown and soften.
- Add coriander, smoked paprika, fennel seeds, chilli and allspice and lightly fry for a minute.
- Add the tomatoes, water, beans, Dijon mustard, maple syrup and Worchester sauce. Bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes until beans become thick and saucy. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with cooked Bean Supreme Rosemary and Parsley Sausages and warm bread.
