Mushroom Burger Recipe
3 mushroom burgers
oil for pan frying
3 sesame seed burger buns
100g mixed mushrooms
3 tablespoons parsley leaves, chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 soft lettuce leaves
2 large tomatoes, sliced
- Heat a little oil in a large frying pan and cook the mushroom burgers for 2 minutes on each side until golden.
- Toast or grill the burger buns.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan and sauté the mixed mushrooms and parsley for 1-2 minutes until tender and season with salt and pepper.
- Top each burger bun with lettuce, tomato, mushroom burger and sautéed mushrooms.
Stove: Heat a little oil in a frying pan and gently brown the burger
patties for approximately 2 minutes on each side.
Grill or BBQ plate: Lightly spray the burger patties with oil then grill for
approximately 2 minutes on each side.
Oven: As a healthy option, lay a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray,
place the burger patties on the paper, cover with foil and bake for
approximately 8 minutes in an oven heated to 180°C.
